Author Information

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit papers written in English that are 2-4 pages in length for review. Only original papers that have not been published earlier or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered. The minimum acceptable paper length is 2 pages. All papers must be formatted in two-column IEEE format (single spaced and 10-point font for text) including figures. The conference maintains the right to refrain from reviewing papers that are longer than 4 pages. All figures, tables, references, etc. are included within the page limit. Papers must be submitted in Portable Document Format (PDF) format. Authors MUST submit their papers electronically for review using EDAS via https://edas.info/N19239

During the initial paper submission process via EDAS, the authors are required to ensure that both the submitted PDF file and EDAS registration page of their paper have the same list of authors and the same paper title. Be certain to add all authors in EDAS during the submission process. Failure to comply with this guideline may result in your paper being withdrawn from the review process. Once reviewed, the listing of authors connected to the paper can NOT be changed in the final manuscript. For your submission you can use the standard IEEE conference templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found at:

http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html

The submission process involves the following steps:

    • Creation of a personal account on EDAS (if the author does not already have one).
    • Selection of a topic at the time of submission from the list provided that is the most relevant to your submitted paper. The conference technical programme committee reserves the right to move a submitted paper to a topic that may be more appropriate.
    • Upload of the paper in PDF format.
    • Check that there are no printing errors.
    • All papers will undergo the same peer-review process. Once the paper is accepted, the authors must upload the final version of the paper taking into consideration any review comments.
    • At least one of the authors must register prior to uploading the publication-ready final version of the accepted paper.
    • With one full registration, two papers can be presented. However, only one paper will be allowed with each student registration.

The conference will have invited and contributory papers. All papers will be presented during oral sessions.

The deadline for Author registration is defined on the ISAP2015 web site.

In order for a paper to be published in the ISAP2015 Conference Proceedings and on IEEE Xplore, at least ONE author of an accepted paper needs to register for the conference.  In the case of multiple accepted papers by one author, one Full registration will cover up to three (3) conference papers, one Normal Student registration will cover one (1) conference paper only. Basic Student registration only entitles the student to attend the technical sessions at the conference.

A charge of AUD $300 applies for each additional paper by the same author associated with the same registration.

A non-refundable registration fee must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication ready version of the paper to EDAS.

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the ISAP2015 Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore. IEEE reserves the right to remove the paper from IEEE Xplore if it is not presented at the conference.

Your registration confirmation code can only be used once to create an Author account. Please do not share this code with anyone else.

Life Member registrations are not valid as author registrations.

AWARDS

There will be several best student paper awards. Papers eligible for the award must have the student as the first author.

IEEE POLICIES

“IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., by not including it in IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.”

Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously and IEEE will take action against any author who has engaged in either practice.
